Honda VFR400R NC30 1990

want to move up to a bigger bike but perhaps '600' and '750' sound a little big, but the other 400's just don't seem to cut it? welcome to the world of the honda V4 engine. the vfr400r is an almost identical replica of the vfr750 rc30, a bike which won numerous awards in style and performance.

this bike is immaculate, apart from general wear and tear that you would expect from an 18yo bike.

the front brakelines have been replaced with heavy duty (and legal) stainless braided lines, which make a HUGE difference in the stopping power.

the exhaust system is a full draughted stainless race kit, designed to create as much free flow as possible. at the end there is a free-flowing carbon muffler. (this bike sounds MEAN!!)

the OEM carb intakes have been removed and replaced with venturi velocity stacks, which gets rid of the nasty mid-range lag these bikes are notorious for, and also helps breathing (=better acceleration).

the sparkplug lines have been replaced with high-flow cables.

she has also just had a tune up and is running so sweet she'll make your teeth hurt! new sparkplugs, oil and filter.

the bad.. the fairing has a small crack in the seat which has been repaired but has fallen open again. the lock is missing from the rear seat compartment, which is incredibly common on all vfr's up to 1993. it's still accessible, and i can easily show the buyer.

if you have never ridden a vfr400r and are judging a weak bike by the engine capacity, then you would be wise to go take one for a test ride as they are an incredible bike!

guaranteed 100km in 1st gear!! (only tested once with a hot engine promise)
