Ducati 900SS i.e. 2001

Iconic Ducati 900SS model in excellent order, isn't she pretty? Bike gets lots of looks outside the cafes! Yellow colour stands out too, I've noticed that car drivers see me much more on this bike than when I ride my other bikes, so thats a safety feature!

This is the later fuel injected version that was updated by Ducati to cure the minor reliabilty issues the earlier models had. These i.e. models had revised camshafts, pistons, cylinders, new design lighter Marchesini wheels and a few other improvements and are a better bike all round than the earlier models. They are also a lot more economical than the Japanese sport v-twins, so easy on the wallet! This particular bike has only done approx 1200km since full $1300 service completed at Ducati dealer. Cam belts were replaced, new X-ring chain and sprockets fitted, oil and filter replaced, new air filter fitted. Bike rides well. The two valve SS models offer their owners a far cheaper to buy and run option than the four valve models, but still retain the Ducati street cred, so are great value at this price!

Rear tyre 50%, front tyre will need replacing for next WOF. I can buy a slightly used soft compound front tyre for an extra $100 over the bid price if buyer wants, or you can take bike as it is and fit your prefered tyre choice yourself.
