Here represents an opportunity to own a highly sought after BMW sports coupe for not alot of $$$ New Zealand new and first registered in 1999 making it one of the last E36 M3's sold in NZ.Comes complete with the full M3 Spec interior package and seating and still looks a million $$ today. Engine still performs and sounds as crisp as ever with a mountain of smooth effortless torque and power.
Fitted with BMW's first generation SMG gearbox which functions correctly but has an intermitent fault which causes it to default to neutral occassionly. I am NOT a mechanic so please don't ask me what the problem is as I can't in honesty answer it.It has been inspected by the BMW agent who can't find a fault.
As a racecar it would be the best option to remove the gearbox and convert it to a conventional 5 or 6 speed manual trans for competion work.
