Fiat Yamaha " The Yambina" Rossi no.46

The Yambina is a Fiat Bambina fitted with a full-house Yamaha R1 engine , hence the name and hence the Rossi paintjob. It has been featured in bike mags and on Yamahas own website. The low-mileage Yamaha R1 engine is fitted with a set of NEW flat slide Keihens ( over $2500 ) , bespoke exhaust to eliminate the EXUP, carbon fibre muffler and Samsub ,and dynoed at 98kw at the rear wheels. The rear end has a NEW Quaife ATB differential ($2000) fitted with Ford Ka axles ( $500) in a bespoke carrier. A full range of engine sprockets ( 13t to 18t) and rear sprockets ( 46t , 53t and 67t) gives full gearing range for all circuits in NZ. A 630 o-ring chain is used. Reverse is via a Subaru starter motor acting on a lightweight flexplate. A light weight alloy radiator is fitted along with a NEW Davies-Craig electric water pump system ( $ 500 ) The interior has ( of course) a race seat and belts , a detachable steering wheel ,and alloy engine cover with cold-air ducting for the carbs. The white paintjob is complimented by a near-perfect replica signage scheme as Rossis bike (at a cost of $1000 ) The car comes with three sets of wheels and tyres : the white 7" ones as in the photos fitted with Toyo 205/60/13 for dry days , a set of 5 " magnesium rims fitted with Dunlop 165/60/13 D98Js for wet , and a set of widened steel rims with gravel tyres for those brave enough to attack rallysprints ! It has of course a current Motorsport NZ Log book. Please note that this is not a car for the faint of heart. It is fast now, just imagine how much faster it could be with further development . Not much to do, but I dont have the time. Now the tough part : $20k invested , so someone is getting a bargain ( start is reserve) . But the deal is that I get first right of refusal should the successful purchaser ever want to sell in the futureok ?
