1978 Datsun 260z Classic Race Car. This car went under a extensive rebuild during 2008. With a full rust removal and repaint.

- L28 Bored and stroked to 3.1,
- All new rods, pistons fitted.
- Crank has been ground and nitride,
- Full engine balance.

- Kameari Adjustable cam Wheel
- All new Rockers, Springs and Valves fitted.
- All new Arp Bolts installed.
- Hi Volume Kameari Oil Pump.
- Kameari Light Weight Alloy Flywheel
- Paddle Clutch.
- 5 speed Nissan gearbox
- 4 pot front Callipers and rear drums fitted with competition pads.
- Triple Dellorto DHlA 40s, all just re kitted.

- All new Mechanical Autometer gauges
- Dunlop Formula R tyres, one spare set of rims, and numerous other spares included in sale.
This car is a lot of fun to drive, Is well sorted has been racing in the FMG and Fujitsu heat Pumps Classic race series at Manfield. Only thing to complete the tidy up is a interior make over.

Laps Manfield consistently in the low 1.22s have recorded a 1.20. Once completely run in and with a dyno tune and good rubber could get into the 1,19s or better.
Registration is on hold, with a bit of work and modifications could be made road legal for Targa.
Reason for sale: its a shame to have it sitting in the garage not being used as much as it should as my focus is spent with my young family rather than hiding out in the garage, or ripping up the race track on weekends.
No By Now. Or Splits... I may consider a swap on a Boat.
