LAND ROVER SERIES 3 1973

Short Wheel Base

Runs on either LPG or Petrol, with a 186 Holden 6 cylinder engine.

Repainted, in excellent overall condition. Engine just been overhauled. LPG bottle has only just been tested and certified for 10 years. Just had WOF and been registered.

Tyres in good order... near new.

Everything is in good running condition.

PLEASE NOTE, SPEEDO READING IS IN MILES

*** WORRIED ABOUT SKYROCKETING OIL PRICES???? You can beat them with LPG! ***

With the present day petrol prices forever climbing, its cheap to run on LPG. It's not worth converting a car to run on LPG - it's better to buy this, as its already on LPG.

And for those who don't like LPG (and can afford to be different!) it runs just as well on petrol.

Questions and answers

interested in a trade on a 91 hilux surf? henryhand (26 )  7:10 pm, Thu 31 Aug
Not really thanks, but please give me a ring (phone number is on listing) or just give me your phone number and I'll ring you. 7:16 pm, Thu 31 Aug
genuine offer, 2500? henryhand (26 )  12:15 pm, Fri 1 Sep
No thank-you... you bid to $4,000 last time, and then decided it was too much for your pocket. Remember, you'll go a long way to find another Land Rover as good - and on LPG! Thanks, Adam 6:18 pm, Fri 1 Sep
Hi there, a couple of questions please. Is there much rust to be concerned of and would you consider paying the transport costs up to Auckland if it was purchased for what you are asking? Kind regards, Ian ianscottkerr (36 )  2:04 am, Sat 2 Sep
Of course there is no rust - it has just got a warrant!!! It's best if interested persons view before bidding so you can see what I am saying. Sorry, I wouldn't pay to deliver to Auckland. Its only about $450 by Ship (Pacifica) ... Port to Port... You can get a quote yourself here to make certain though: http://www.pacship.co.nz/quotes.cfm 10:04 am, Sat 2 Sep
Also, sorry i take it it has got a fully functional tow bar (equiped for lights on a trailer). Just can't quite see in the photos. Cheers ianscottkerr (36 )  2:06 am, Sat 2 Sep
Yes, it's got a good solid tow bar with a light connector - you can see this connector in one of the photos... the rear view one. It's to the right of the gas filler bung and the tow bar. It's that grey thing. :-) We have used it with our trailer... works fine. I hope this helps you to make a satisfactory decision. Cheerio, Adam 10:08 am, Sat 2 Sep
God it looks even better than it did last time round. DAMN YOU MORTGAGE!!! criggie (385 )  10:21 am, Sat 2 Sep
Sure! It's a beauty! You'd better risk everything and buy this, as you'll never have another chance... Just think how proud you’ll be to drive down the road past your friends. It'll turn more heads than their modern “puddle-jumpers”. 10:31 am, Sat 2 Sep
I can't afford it, but I'd love to come have a look. Would you be upset if I came to look but wasn't going to purchase? criggie (385 )  4:21 pm, Sun 3 Sep
Not us! We wouldn't be upset in the slightest... you give us a ring (numbers listed above) and we'd be delighted to see you. You are very welcome to come out for a nosey. Warm regards, Adam 5:30 pm, Sun 3 Sep
how comfortable would it be for a rather tall person, me being 6'4"? criggie (385 )  7:14 am, Tue 5 Sep
Well, it depends on whether your feet are longer than your neck. :-) My brother is 6'2" and he fits okay. Your extra 2 inches can fit in the glove box if you run out of room I'm sure! A Land-Rover has to fit, like a comfortable shoe before it's worth buying, so give us a ring... you are welcome to try it for size. Kind Regards, Adam 7:52 am, Tue 5 Sep
