Kawasaki ZXR 1989
Description
One slightly used ZXR400 H race bike that could probably use a new coat of paint...
The bike runs really well but I don't have any use for it as I got another race bike awhile ago. Last time I raced this at club days it was getting quite good placings.
The engine has had a few mods done: Head is ported Running single ring Compression is raised Running total loss electrical system Starter motor is removed Has flat slide carbs! Not easy or cheap to get these carbs anymore.
The rear shock was recently reconditioned and the fork oil changed.
The body work is a bit rough. Probably wont worry a newbie who's ready to find the limits of corner speed.
Comes with the spare tyres and stands in the photos. The spare rear tyre is new. I have some spares in my shed that will be sold with the bike. Tanks, frame and other random bits.
I have just changed the oil, filter and checked the valve clearances.
Ready for racing!
