Beautifully restored CBX 650 Police Special.
About 90% of this bike is brand new parts including: Frame, Tank, Seat, All plastics, Instruments, Engine Cases and Side Cases, Cylinder Head, Forks, Rear Wheel, Headlight, Horns, All Controls, Exhaust, Rear Pole & Light, Crash Bars, Lights, Siren, Screen and more.
Cost around $20 000 in new parts.
This really is an absolutely beautiful restoration and definitely museum quality.
It has never been started since the restoration although I did ride it home before the restoration.
This bike is an ex Auckland City Council Traffic Patrol Bike. To my knowledge, none of the Ministry of Transport CBX650 bikes survived as they were all destroyed and dumped.
(I have spoken to the sledge hammer weilder who destroyed the MOT bikes)
Actual kilometres unknown as the speedo is new but from memory it was around the 45000km.
