Honda CB 750/4 1972
Description
Honda 750/ four Reg on hold. Chassis number reads CB750-2100570 which acording to my Honda Identifcation Guide makes it a 1972 although it was first registered in 1976, possibly imported then I dont know.
This bike is fairly tidy (but not quite 100% original) for its age. Was a good runner when I ran it last, approx 6 years ago. I have turned the motor over on a regular basis and it still kicks over with good compression.
The frame has been strengthened and had lugs fitted for a sidecar and is 3/4 of the way through certification for a chair. Just needs to be ridden by certifier with a sidecar on it (he has to be happy with the way it handles) to complete certification (plus his fee $) if any one wants to carry this project on but this paper work can be scrapped if not wanted, no problem. Lugs etc could be removed if required. Needs wiring sorting to make it run, loom is there and in better than average condition, I hate wiring and I need to raise some cash quickly for another project.
Carbs have been cleaned ready for fuel. Main parts missing to make it rideable, Battery, Forks & front wheel. I have most other bits to put it fairly close to original bar the exhaust. Parts that come with it include, koni shocks rear shocks (on bike), Front gaurd, speedo drive, tail light, new oil filter, workshop manual and any other bits that we (the winner & I) can find in my man cave, i.e. even correct nuts, bolts & screws etc. In the past I have wrecked other single cam Honda fours so I am willing to SWAP parts from this bike for any other spare bits that I have if the winning bidder wants i.e. I have the correct headlight brackets for a 72. I am quite willing to help the winner as much as I can to complete this bike with what bits I have spare.
Bike can be viewed but I will not bypass this auction.
