Benelli 250 2C 1974

For sale my Benelli 250 2C project.

I am just about to get my full license and am looking to get a bigger bike (actually my dream bike) for pottering around on and in order to do that I have to put my beloved project up for sale. Second photo shows where I have gotten up to with the restoration.

It is a 1974 Benelli 250 2C. Restoration work has begun as can be seen in the photo with the frame powdercoated and parts begun to be re-assembled onto the bike. The sale includes the many spares I have including a spare tank, engine (minus pistons and heads), Silentium exhausts and various other bits and pieces. I have a record of ownership plus it's original number plate so getting it back on the road once finished won't be a problem. Was told it was running before I stripped it down but I have not heard it running. Bike is complete although some parts are not original such as the indicators, light switch and headlamp lens. Can help with getting it to freight company in Dunedin for out of town buyer. Also a perfect start if you want to get into classic racing as these two strokes are quick with great handling.

This is hard for me to do as I love this bike enormously but as I say in order to get my dream bike (and something that will handle Dunedin hills a bit better) I have to sell. It will not be offered to watchers and since I am under time restraints to raise the funds if it does not sell I will probably just keep it.
