KTM Adventure 620 1998

Up for sale is my 1998 KTM Adventure 620

28L tank.

One of the rarest adventure models/year out there. Only 30 were sold in USA. Seen lots of KTMs in NZ, but never this one.

I am a 2nd owner. Purchased from a close friend who brought it from the States in Dec to ride around NZ. Trip is over, I bought the bike, found it to be just a little too big for me, so now it is up for sale.

Bike is cleared of all the customs fees, WOF July 2015, Rego May 2015. Starts up every time, no issues at all, no oil, water or gas leaks at all. Bike was never raced or been down. Goes very well!!!

Bike first arrived in NZ with (honest) 900 km on it. Before importing it to NZ (6 months ago), since 98 bike was pampered and lived in a garage with 9 other bikes. Last year, we change all the coolant hoses and liquids, new battery, upgraded to a halogen headlight, fitted a racing Keihin FCR 41mm carburetor (works awesome). Fully rebuilt rear shock ($800).

We rode 4500 km with absolutely no problems. Bike is a beast!

With the sale goes a set of oil filters, carburetor rebuild kit, new clutch cable (spare runs parallel to the installed) and the original touratech (not working) tripmaster (was taken off in 1999) – those who know these bikes will know, these things were faulty from the start and replaced by a generic speedo/clock. 70% on MotoZ Desert tires. Rear blinkers work, but cracked and taped up, scratch on the left pipe from the kickstand. Everything is in the pics.

PLEASE come and take a look at the bike before bidding! Bike is not new, so there are some marks on plastic. It's TALL, if you want a test ride, come with enough cash that I will hold as a deposit!
