The Comsub is a small, lightweight two-man submarine. Built in Sweden in 1986 to Lloyds standards and witnessed up to and including pressure testing, but not finally certified. Powered by 28 rechargeable lead-acid batteries providing 23 kWh of electric endurance.
Recently refurbished/modified and ready to dive. Some training provided. Ideal for underwater filming, scientific research, search and salvage.

The Comsub is equipped with four reversible thrusters for vertical and lateral manoeuvring, while the main forward propulsion is provided by a fixed reversible stern-mounted thruster, with a hydraulically actuated rudder. It has four acrylic viewing windows at the bow of the vessel with a comfortable reclining mat for easy travel, plus five smaller viewports in the conning tower for navigation and surfacing. The conning tower itself is a cylindrical construction with a 600mm (24 inch) hatch diameter for entry and exit of the submersible.
