Ariel, is a Mason 53 center cockpit, solid GRP hull, cutter-rigged sloop. Designed by Al Mason, Ariel was built, in1984 to the highest of standards, by Pacific Asian Enterprises (PAE), at the Ta-Shing Shipyard in Taiwan. PAE, based in Dana Point, California, is currently well-known for their exclusive ocean passage making Nordhavn line of trawlers.
