This tool connects to your laptop or PC via a serial port (RS-232). Covers e30, e32, e36, e38, e39, e46 cars.

I have tested this on my E38 and a E39.

Can diagnose both petrol and diesel engines 1988 - 2004.

Reset error codes ranging from brake and traction control, airbag, gearbox faults, engine faults to body electronics on the car, see pics of menu items.

Reset oil service light, perform live data diagnostics (injection timing, gearbox performance etc) [higher spec models only] also tells you where the problem is.

Reset gearbox adaptations after a transmission flush.

Live data capture allows you to monitor components while the car is running. Air flow sensor, injectors etc.

Main Functions: Digital total test: It gives you a complete idea of the overall condition of the car Digital single test: It gives you detailed information about the appropriate control unit. Stored errors will be shown in a written report. This report has a short info-text which helps you to eliminate the error.

Special functions for some models: Including service interval reset, component activation, live data, LCM reading, sync. EWS and ECU, adaptation values, and coding BMW Carsoft 6.5 all readouts are in ENGLISH
