We have sourced these direct from Germany & the genuine part number for reference purposes is 34 35 2 229 018

If your brake pad warning light ever comes on, you will need to replace this sensor every time you put new brake pads in otherwise the warning light will not go out even "with" new pads fitted

Fits all E39 5 series
