Programmable Megasquirt ECU for 1UZ V8

This is the Megasquirt V2.2 with the MS1 CPU

It has been assembled modified and prepared for use on a Toyota/Lexus V8 engine (1UZ-FE)

This is a must if you have modified your engine further than the toyota ECU can accommodate, Or if you just want to remove the air flow meter for a tidier engine bay.

I can also modify it further so coil packs can be used. This is most useful for off-road vehicles where wet distributors are a disadvantage.

It requires one tooth to be removed from the crank trigger wheel. this enables the ecu to work with just that sensor making the cam sensors surplus to requirements.

This is pre programmed to use the factory water temp and a common toyota air temp sensor. (the lexus air temp sensor is part of the air flow meter, which is no longer used).

I recommend the use of the subaru two channel ignitor, which is easier to wire and smaller than the large toyota ignitor.

The ecu has a tach output that can run any tach that is used with a 4 or 8 cyl engine.
