Suzuki LS 650 Savage 1993

Probably the best LS 650 based Bobber ever.

Brought it from Europe. 27000 Km aprox, new odometer.

Changes to original are: Windscreen LSL Steering Bar. Better aftermarket steering grips Upmarket Front barend Indicators LED back indicators. Better front and back (LED) light. Extra front lights, LED, low mounted to enhance road lighting and frontal visibility by others A LOT. Larger Tank. New odometer. 12 V charging plug. Cleared frame triangle. Open KN air filter. Battery mounted in sturdy metal box in front of engine, further lowering center of gravity. original carburetor (nothing wrong with that) but larger fuel jet to match the open air filter. Modified (German engineered) Camshaft (basis a Suzuki DR 500 Camshaft, but with changed timing), modified (German engineering) cam chain tightener (the only weak part in this engines construction). Original Manifold, but Silvertail muffler (not very loud, just a little more power from that). Swinging hand welded rear mudguard. Two front mudguards, one cool shortened with pinstripes, one plain black original, for WOFing. Original but modified driverseat, VERY comfortable, 500 km in one go no problem. Expensive Seeger changed footrests, footrests are farther forward but more important more up than original, giving you better bend performance. upmarket bitubo rear suspension. Lots of small bits to loose more weight. Weight down like 20 kg from original, wet weight around 150 kg, hp should be considerably up from original (34), I guess like 45. I had no problems riding with much larger bikes. As torque to weight is great and the single cylinder with its minimised internal resistance compared to multi cylinders goes like hell, this bike is very fast out of the bends and with the low center of gravity and wide steering bar handles just great. Topspeed about 150, but thats theoretical. Original 5 speed Gearbox. Fairly new Tires. New Service. Sell because one toy to many. Winter price, won't get cheaper.
