A three year rebuild to bring it to this level, need to sell for health reasons, this is the finest example of a Wes Cooley replica this year. Below is the list of what has been completed to date. The bike was previously stored by the sea and had severe corrosion, hence the rebuild to restore this beautiful machine. *Frame blasted then zinced and powder coated *Paint to Original specs *Wheels polished and custom painted *Motor blasted and high temp paint applied *0.5 oversize pistons, honed and new rings *Head has new valve guides and stems seals 5000 km ago *head ported to 34mm *Ultrasonically cleaned and jetted carbs by Wired George in USA BS34 Mikuni's *New high output stator *New Reg/rectifier *New Dyna coils *New 8mm high output leads *New Dyna S electronic ignition system *Every nut and bolt cleaned, nickle plated or chromed *New allen head screws for casing *New seat cover (not original type, but close) *New indicators *New handle bars *New wheel bearings *New needle bearings for swing arm *Tyres near new *New lamps all round *All valves are standard *New plugs 5k ago (standard) *High flow Pengal fuel tap *New master front brake cylinder *New stainless braided brake lines
No timewasters please, need to sell. This bike hauls ass, and keeps up with my mates modern bikes, corners well for an 80's bike with good tyres.
