Aprilia ETX150 2015

Up for sale is my exceptionally tidy ETX150. These bikes have taken New Zealand by storm and rightly so, they are an absolutely fantastic bike.

I purchased this bike to get into adventure riding and it has performed brilliantly. It is a very capable machine and has taken me to some amazing places throughout the South Island. My passion for adventure riding has seen me upgrade to a larger capacity bike and while I'd love to keep the ETX150, there is simply no room in my garage =(

This is great news for anyone looking to get a near new bike for a fantastic price. Additionally, the common ETX150 faults have already been addressed. The chain and wheel bearings are prone to early failure so these have been replaced. The bearings have been replaced with high-quality Japanese bearings and a new high-quality O-ring DID chain costing $150 has been fitted. Also, the bike has been fitted with Pro Taper Pastrana Fat Bars and Biketique Hand Guards with full alloy backbone.

As for maintenance, it has been meticulously maintained. My brother used to be a mechanic so he has installed the practice of preventive maintenance being the key to a happy engine and a long life. All oil changes have been performed well before service intervals using quality oil. The bike has also been fully serviced by the bike shop as part of the warranty procedure.

This bike is registered, warranted and ready to set off on an adventure or, be used as a commuter bike. The reserve price is set to half of what the bike cost me brand-new, plus on road costs, upgrades and the Dri-Rider top bag.

There is some minor cracking and scratching on the hand guards, so to offset this the Dri-Rider top bag goes with the bike as a free gift =)
