HPI CDI complete ignition suit VMX125 or bucket

This is an aftermarket HPI (High Power Ignition) ignition (go on Google it).

I believe the base plate was intended for CR125 and the CDI is a generic curve but I guess should be suitable for old MX125s (CR125, YZ125, RM125, KX125) or say TS, TF, MB, KH, RG etc buckets.

The internal flywheel is actually for a smaller Suzuki taper but could be machined out to a larger crank taper if required. You would need to make a simple plate to mount it on. Or you might get super lucky & bolts on straight off.

I bought this I think 2006 for a large sum of money. Kind of committed before I realised how much. But then held off fitting it & now no longer need it. Hence it is new unused. For considerably less than I paid.

My loss, your gain as they say in TM adds.

Imagine starting with a brand new stator & new matched coil & CDI rather than a 30yr old relic that despite becoming increasingly rare and expensive to buy has been rewound by Jeb, son of Jeb snr who knew the art of how to wind these things so they worked for longer than a month, - but he retired & Jeb Jnr only got interested as he heard that Resin was involved.

Oh yeah not sure what the other loom was supposed to be for. Think was included for Programmable version, but no plug on this.
