MCLAREN TROJAN M6 GT

67 M1C canam Rolling chassis, and M6 GT manta style body , rear window, doors with windows included needs front window. Has door hinges, steering works, previously had big block 427 Turbo Jet Chevrolet engine and ZF transaxle , linkages still there. Very lite weight, have got original design and build plans. body Is reinforced poly resin. Lite weight monocoque TUB and side mouldings ex Denny Hulme are included. VW front end. Pop up head lights Leather seats Has some alloy body work. Previously has been raced Very rare car in New Zealand. Located in Dunedin 1969 design Last 3 photos is what finished car will look like. History of this McLaren, we imported it for the 600 horse power Chevrolet engine, it arrived with only a few body parts, we transferred the engine into our Gordon Keeble Gk 15, which also is a British GT to replace the 327 corvette engine. Then we raced the Gk at waimate 50 and lady wigram with some success, some of you may recall the Gk it's also in march 2008 classic car magazine #207. After that we put the 427 into our hydroplane race boat and achieved over 120 mph on water at twizel. finally the 427 helped win south island speedway champs at Woodford Glen. The M6 GT has been just sitting under the house for 40 years awaiting rebuild. Have collected porsche V8 parts as a possible re engine /trans axle / drive and suspension option. But best advice is to keep the car in original format with Chevrolet V8. Denny Hulme took some moldings off his M6 GT incase his was ever damaged, these moldings are as close as you can get to the original McLaren M6 GT.
