Commer Motor Caravan 1965

1965 Commer Pop Top Caravan factory built in England in September 1964 sold new in February 1965. Bought out to New Zealand by original owners and first registered in NZ in February 1968. We have the English papers of registration and the old NZ ones as well these will be passed to the new owner. We purchased this vehicle in 2006 from The Te Puke Auto Barn vehicle Museum.

Extensive body work repairs Frost plugs in motor replaced Water pump reconditioned Cooling System flushed New Thermostat Electric Fan Fitted New Fuel Pump Fitted All Brake Wheel Cylinders Reconditioned New Brake Master Cylinder Steel Brake Fluid Lines Replaced Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders Reconditioned 4 New Tyres Steering Box Seals Replaced New Exhaust tail Pipe House Battery 12volt with Dual Charging System Power Supply 230volt Electric WOF Expires 2018

The Interior has had the following work completed New Headlining Fitted on Pop Top and outside repainted New Squabs (Fold down into Double Bed) New Curtains All Woodwork recoated New 35 Ltrs Fresh Water Tank & Pump New Grey Water Tank & Tank Water Level Gauge (See Photo) New Carpet in Rear

New 2mtr square Free Standing Awning Thetford Portable Toilet Shower Tent and Solar Shower We have not got it checked for Self-containment but it has all the necessary requirements

Work still to be done Minor Panel work Repaint Van Replace Windscreen, Front side and Rear Door Window Rubbers Gas Cooker is not connected Cab interior needs a tidy up. Registered and has WOF current but will update when sold This is possibly one of the oldest Commer Pop Top English Built motor caravans in NZ and we have kept it as original as we could.
