Audi Other DKW 1967

Being sold as is where is because it is in a condition of needing work. Hasn't been running or driven since 1998. Pretty original and too good to just wreck. Make a good project as body is sound and pretty straight. Registration is on hold. Has been parked up (mostly undercover) since 1998. I was driving it, back in 1998, and the exhaust started to leak near the manifold (I think) then it ran out of petrol, all on the same day; to cut a long story short, it was parked up and it has not been run or driven since. Unfortunately it has deteriorated over the years.

Details:

• Has only had two owners since new: Original elderly owner from 1967 - 1998 and myself from 1998 - 2015
• 62,000 miles on the clock and I think this is genuine, original, and authentic
• Has original keys
• Has original old style ownership papers
• Has original owners manual
• Has all chrome but front bumper is not perfectly straight; and trim on front of bonnet is soft and rusty.
• It looks as though at some stage car has had accident on left-front side.
• Has big boot.
• Has original tools
• Had tune up just ~500 kilometers before it broke down (if that makes any difference)
• Has all four genuine Audi hubcaps
• I think it has a 1700cc engine. (Will check the manual and update listing.) North-south engine configuration and front-wheel drive.

62,000 miles not kms

• engine probably seized but perhaps might turn over after taking spark plugs out and spraying oil in to engine. Who knows. Is difficult to get a spanner or socket on the front crank nut to check. I haven't bothered to do this as someone might just buy it for parts so would be a wasted effort for me.

It needs at least the following things:

• new battery, coolant
• brake fluid and new hydraulics for brakes (rubber seals and cylinders would need honing or wheel cylinders and master cylinder rebuilt etc because it's been sitting around for so long)
• new CV boots
• Warrant of Fitness
• new Registration (on hold since 1998)
