Austin A35 2 DOOR 1957

VERY RARE ... AUSTIN A35 2-DOOR COUPE ... with the more desirable "BIG" 948cc Engine & Large Rear Window.

The A35 2-Door (Sporty?) Model is quite hard to come by ... with most A35's being 4-Doors.

It took me several years of looking to find this one. I think it's about a 1957 Vintage & the milage is unknown.

Basically Sound but requires some panel work and rust repairs.

This is a RESTORATION/RESCUE ... Nostalgia Project ... and TOO RARE to send to the Car Crusher.

RESTORE to original ... or maybe build a "Sleeper"? A popular and easy conversion is to "literally" bolt-in a Datsun 1200 and 4-Speed. More power ... and longer legs!

Maybe ... "Shoehorn In" ... a 179 Holden Six ... and build a "Tribute/Replica" of the late Peter Brock's 2-Door A30 ... his first REAL race car?

There is a boot-load full of assorted spare parts, 4 x good radial tyres ... a set of good Hubcaps and 2 x Very Good Mudguard Side Lights ... plus a Workshop Manual on CD that I've bought ... that I'll throw in.

The Grill, Front Bumper, Carby and Radiator are missing. The engine turns over by hand.
