Austin Other 3 litre 1970

Look..........i have not had this for a long time but i just cannot confine it to the rear of the shed as i go back to a classic Landrover...............so off she goes at a low reserve.

1970 Austin 3 litre with manual transmission and overdrive.There were just some 9992 of these made between 1968 and 1971 so this one has done well and has been the subject of a refurbishment to include suspension and new paintwork in the past.The speedo reading is not guaranteed to be correct and is miles.

WOF and Rego until October 2014 included.

It has a new exhaust, runs like a watch and the 4 speed manual overdrive works perfectly both up and down.It does however fall out of third gear sometimes in overrun.No visible rust.

The interior is undamaged black vinyl with individual front seat armrests,the woodwork is original and the headlining is secure. The chrome work generally is good but the rear bumper would benefit from a rechrome and at some point in the future it will need a pair of front tyres. All in this is a real nice car that is asking for some ongoing love and affection that will reward the new owner with an executive classic drive. It has a tow bar,power steering,inertia seat belts but no sunroof.
