Description
Well preserved example of practical classic. I wonder how many of these still have sponge on the back of the bonnet! Rarer than 2002. Only 1323 RHD made. This car possibly left the factory in Munich 6th last. NZ new. "Molly" has been in Otago for her whole life. The second owner(lady) had her for 28 years. I did only 2650 miles in 9 years of my ownership. She deserves a better home.
Very reliable like any BMW. No problems in modern traffic. Delightful to drive. Light and airy with large windows all around. New battery. Serviced 20 miles ago. New front suspensions 2600 miles ago. Distance in miles. Meter has only 5 digits so probably 122572 miles.
A few dents and blemishes on the body. She is 41 years old and no plastic surgery! Oil leaks a bit. Crack on dash. Original radio not working. Interior is pretty good except wear on top of seats. Right front grill reflector broken. Nothing major for WOF or driving.
Comes with owner's handbook which is fun to look at, service book and service-station overseas in original plastic sleeve.
