BMW 520i 1989
Description
About this Teddy Bear: Ive been bringing this rascal up for a couple of years now and he has been the centre of attention at a fair few parties. When I say a 'Fair Few' I mean about 15 parties, but it is probably about 10.
His name is Hamish Gordon-Turner, I named him after my best friend at primary school whos name was Hamish Gordon-Turner. Me and the real Hamish used to do everything together and were the kings of the fort, until Nathan fell off...broke his arm and then the board of trustees decided to take it down and replace it with 2 tractor tyres.
Along with the adoption of Hamish I will throw in a bag of burger rings and a 520i BMW.
The Car is a BMW 520i It was made in 1989 which is exactly 3 year before 1992. That year a company that owns all the apples in NZ gave every child one and we all crunched into them at the same time to a count down led by Peter Blake. He later sold all his red socks and got shot at by pirates. Not real pirates. RIP Pete
Its has done 277 thousand kilometres which is way further than I could ever run or even drive in one sitting. Such a smooth ride and hugs to the road like a hippies palms to a pohutakawa tree.
The Interior is really nice and partnered up with a CD player. OMG I am such a liar...there is a rip on the drivers seat. I will probably put a poster over it.
Why am I selling Hamish and this beautiful classic BMW with electric windows and star gazing sun-roof? Because honestly I could do with the cash to pay for prostitutes. OMG I lied again!! I am in a relationship and DO NOT engage with ladies of the night.
I did however purchase the BMW while my partner was up in Auckland with her Mum recovering from a tummy bug she got from a trip we went to in Thailand lol. When she got back she said I had to get rid of it but I blamed it on Hamish and she said she has had a guts full, and told me to get rid of him too
Test drives are welcome but I might come for the ride, I can bring some cokes. They can go in the cupholders.
