Daimler Sovereign Series 1 1970

For sale due to house move. Early Jaguar Daimler Series 1 XJ6 SWB with chrome gauge surrounds, original 1 piece rear bumper, wheels and handbooks. Some history including bill of sale and a manual. Reasonably good condition for age. A good complete car in solid condition that will make a great project or drive as it is. Paint crazed on top surfaces but no rust anywhere that I have seen. Chrome good but front bumper has a dent in the centre. Drives nicely, feels as it should on the road and stops well. Is smoking a bit but have replaced the trans vacuum valve that was leaking. Has electronic ignition but needs a distributor vacuum advance unit and tune-up with some fresh fuel. Parts of the interior have been recovered/repaired/coloured and it could do with new carpets and rear seat cover however it is intact and useable. The headlining is good and all parts are there including a nearly complete tool roll. Milometer was not working so estimated mileage based on history is not guaranteed. Lh fuel tank has been repaired and Rh sender unit doesn't work. The wipers don't park and the clock has stopped. Sold as is where is. Viewing welcome. Please ask for any specific pictures.
