Fiat 850 1969

This Auction is for TWO CARS !!!!

Sadly the time has come to sell this project that I have realistically realised I will never get around to completing. This 1969 Fiat 850 Sport belonged to my grandmother and has been in our family since new. The car has only travelled 24000 Miles. This car was in storage in immaculate condition when the quakes hit our family building in the CBD of Christchurch. The rest they say is history. I was hoping to restore the car once we had recovered it from the building but 4 years later I have realised that it is just never going to happen. As the car has a huge amount of sentimental value to me it is going to be very hard to see it go. I hope that someone can find a good use for it, or at least parts of it. The reg is on hold on this vehicle. The interior is in immaculate condition and is well worth saving. The motor has not been run for years but having only done such a small mileage I am sure it has plenty of life in it yet. The second car I purchased a number of months ago to help with the restoration. This car has the typical Fiat rust but still has some great parts, motor gearbox and the reg is also on hold. Viewing is recommended and the second car really is a parts car, but I do think the quake damaged car could be saved if someone had the time, skills and money. I also have much of the original paperwork. Both cars sold as is where is with reg on hold on both vehicles.
