Description
This car was brought to NZ in the early eighties from the USA and converted to RT hand drive. It is a Model CS1.
It is currently unregistered and unwarranted. To get it back on the road will require some reasonable restoration and VIN certification to get it registered.
It has areas of rust in the doors, floor, and boot that need attention.
The motor does not go due to a snapped CAM belt.
The car is best suited to someone who has a passion (and time) for restoring classic cars.
The photo's show the car with the soft-top removed. The canvas on the soft-top is in very good condition.
The car also comes with a custom built single roll bar. All tyres are in good nick, with plenty of tread.
I have removed the interior to see the extent of the rust (see images). The upholstery and carpets are all in good condition (grey with red piping).
