Ford Capri 3000 GT V6 1972

Genuine Australian 3000 V6 Superoo. One of only 3000 made 1970-72, fitted with five genuine RSAlloys,blacked out bonnet and Gold GT Str[pes.Virtually no rust,very straight body. Original Australian interior is in very good condition. The original padded dash is not cracked or distorted. The instruments,steering wheel and parcel tray area are all pristine. The RS alloy wheels have been on the car as long as anyone can remember and were probably fitted by the original owner M.S. Motors Ltd Ford dealers Nelson who owned the car for the first year.The RS wheels are still fitted with the original chrome plastic hubcaps which are very rare.The registration has lapsed but the original black plates and registration document are with tha car. Requires new vinyl roof. In daily use before being put into dry storage in 1988 (25 years ago) Minor work required to make roadworthy again. These cars are increasing in value in line with Aussie muscle cars and this one is a particually nice example. The wheels have been refaced, the rear bumper rechromed and the rear mouldings refinished by Brightwork Repairs, Christchurch to a high standard. This car has been part of a private Capri collection and is being sold reluctantly because of storage costs.Comes with new water pump, original brochure and handbook,Superoo decals and engine decal set.
