Jeep Cherokee Sport 1996

This is an aging Jeep Cherokee Sport. It runs very well still, despite the fact that it looks like the dog's breakfast. Has been in my family for 20 years and never missed a beat. Engine and trans appear to be as tight as a nun's nasty.

Selling points include lack of bothersome heater and stereo units, a hole in the floor to drain out sea water (making this semi amphibious) and also allowing in fumes from the leaking exhaust. A very relaxing aspect.

Headrest removed as my father believed they were causing premature balding. Has had 8000 wofs since then, but it came up as a fail on last wof. See sheet. The nice part about having no headrest is it really would allow maximum spinal travel in the event of an airbag deploying. Ideal!

Radiator has a split which has been plastic-welded but does seep if vehicles is allowed to sit for long periods at idle, or on long low-speed missions.

This old bitch has seen more action than Arnie, across all terrain that the Far North offers, as well having spent half its life in the ocean. Now in Palmerston North, it drove the 750-odd kms with no probs.

Engine regularly serviced, good amount of meat left on the black-and-rounds, new brake pads up front, new boot-lift struts. Registered, WOF expired.
