Kia Cerato HX 2006
Description
This car was bought originally by my parents from new and they happily owned it until they saw the 2012 Kia and decided to upgrade.
At that time, my wife was returning to work and needed a car, so we bought it from them in February 2012.
As a result of having two careful owners, and knowing her father in law would be round regularly to inspect it, this car has been kept in immaculate condition.
Don’t be put off by the perception that only “old people” drive Kia’s.
This car is an excellent commuter, great first car for a student, or great car for the family. It is a simple, easy to run, reliable, comfortable car that can also go long distance driving.
The mod cons that are standard in Kia’s are streets ahead of the competition. The Kia comes with: Power Steering, Cruise Control (under rated and under used but once you start using it, you’ll never stop), Climate Control, outside air temperature display (awesome for those cold winter mornings); Front/Curtain Airbags, Electric Windows, two keys with remote entry, Alloy wheels, Bonnet protector, anchor bolts for three car seats, Fog lights, Factory radio, beige fluffy fake fur seat covers; For added safety the centre rear seat is a shoulder belt.
Huge boot with full sized spare wheel.
The seats fold down so you can turn this into a workhorse, stick your surfboard in or even sleep in it if you were keen.
A very snazzy fin on the boot which makes it look a little racey (and goes faster as a result)!
The only reason we are selling it, is to get a larger car with our expanding family. It has been serviced all its life by Kia dealers and had a brake shoe replacement last year and a new battery for peace of mind.
It’s got a couple of scratches on the left kerb side alloy, a little bit of gravel rash on the right hand bumper after my wife rubbed the side of my nicely stacked cobbles waiting to be sold and a small chip in the bonnet (see pictures).
