Land Rover Defender County 1989

Our beloved Landy is sadly for sale. The nine seats have carted our family around (town and the country side) for many years - due to some of the chickens flying the coup it's time to down size. The old girl will go absolutely anywhere without complaining, has never let us down, is mechanically sound, and will sit on 90 - 100kmh all day long. If you want a pristine Defender then this is not for you. If you don't mind the odd battle scar, bush pin stripe, window winder quirk, rip in the leather seat, or flakey bonnet clear coat - then she may be what you are looking fo. Will come with a fresh service and some diesel k's. I bought this Landrover in 2008 and according to the previous owner it pretty much had a ground up re build in 2002. The Auckland company that completed the work dropped a 300 Tdi engine in it (new photos attached), the vehicle is originally from Australia. To appease all you Landcover aficionados out there - I am no expert. I just needed a solid family / hunting wagon so bought the old bitch and she gets us everywhere. It's serviced regularly, and burns NO oil although it does weep here and there, as it has always done since we have had it. The casting number on the engine is HRC2666
