This is a 1 of a kind Bedford CF. The only 1 like it in this known universe. Fully certified for everything. I am selling this and moving on to my next van project (red van pictured). This is a long wheel base so the tray is a real good size. Most of the shell was taking back to bare steel and it had hardly any rust issues. Ive seen many many CF vans and the condition of this body was & is 1 of the best out there. It has 2 side suicide opening doors (most CFs only have 1 & sometimes no side doors). It also has a rear hatch that opens up. The windows & rubbers on these are new. The tray is coated with bedliner which wont chip & scratch. The front seats can swivel to face the rear. It has power steering. Retractable seatbelts. The engine is a Nissan Diesel LD28 with a 4 speed auto including an overdrive switch. It is very economical and just cruises. I was going to put a bench seat in the back but have left it empty. There are 2 seatbelt anchor points in each corner if a seat were to be put in. There is heaps of room for a mattress. New rear brake shoes & cylinders. Injector pump recond. It has a fresh VTNZ WOF.
I realize that there maybe those who will rather replace the engine & running gear with a bit more omphff. Or someone may already have a hotted up CF with a rusty shell. If the auction doesn't reach the reserve I am happy to negotiate with any bidders who may only be interested in purchasing the unique body minus stuff like the bumpers, tail lights, door handles, rubbers, front doors, bonnet, grill etc. Which I will keep and use on my next van. This will save me hours of sourcing these parts again. The condition of this body will save you thousands in panel & paint if you were to try and restore the typical rusty CFs out there.
