Sunbeam Talbot 90 1951
Description
Bought in Napier in 1995. This MkII had been restored: motor rebuilt, re-leathered seats, radiator re-cored, steering box recond., etc.
Was my daily transport till 2001. Reason offroad was a cracked waterpump housing (alloy) and never got around to replacing.
Car has sat outside, covered, for eight years and panel rust now apparent. Motor starts readily and runs smoothly. Chassis sound, brakes and suspension rekitted in 1996.
Fitted with factory sunroof, 4 speed floor shift conversion.
Work needed: waterpump, gear selector knuckle missing off lever, panel rust, re-line hood, carpets, gearbox perhaps. Rego lapsed a couple of years ago.
COMES WITH: original toolbox, Workshop manual (Mks II, IIa, III)Owners manual (MkIII), receipts for motor rebuild, full set of spare glass, 5 excellent tyres. Trafficators are in place, disconnected from power.
An excellent re-restoration for someone with a passion for a fine automobile.
