Rover Other P4 '105s' 1959

Interesting model being seldom available. Been told only a few on live plates & only 3 known in Aus. Just 3 previous owners, [2 in same family] & 93000 miles. Spent many years in dry storage & is a very straight example for a 57 year old, with shiny paint. Re-sprayed in the 1980,s matching the original colours & wax/polished 2-3 times each year over recent times. She is very happy in her warm carpeted garage!

Has kept very nicely with just a few parking bruises & minor marks. Original interior, dash, wood-work & head lining all nice. Original carpets are faded, but complete & a new set of NZ made in green are included.

Front seats could do with recovering, a set of wool covers would enhance, the rears are nice & original. Many door seals & rubbers replaced. All things work from the fog lamps, heater, clock etc.The CD has strong tones, could do with new ariel for reception.

Runs on a matching set of deep tread radials with recent upgrades including new front seat belts, exhaust & new battery[5/16] Engine is strong, [105 has about 20% more power & torque than the '90'] 100% reliability with the under bonnet area being a picture. Clutch, over-drive & trans all working good.

Full service all round in the last 500 miles including carbs, dizzy & fuel pump. Tuned for 95, no additives needed. Electrics converted to neg earth. [More choices with music, digital gadgets & the like!]

Comes with its own 'British Heritage certificate' which shows '58 build & '59 on NZ papers. Rover fans will know their values with rare & sought after P4,s reaching $NZ10000--24000 in the UK.
