Toyota Hilux Surf 1985

My old hunting waggon/bush basher.

This was on hold while I was overseas but my mother never let me know the reminder notice arrived from LTNZ or forwarded my mail, so it dropped off on-hold to unregistered. Still on the LTNZ computers until 7 November 2013 so if you buy it and pay the back rego fees (MR24) you can put it on hold again.

1985 YN60V Hilux Surf, this is the first generation Surf with the removable fibreglass canopy, sort of a cross between a ute and a SUV proper.

Has spent time as a farm truck hauling hay and fence posts, time as a hunting waggon with furry corpses bleeding over the rear carpet, time as a offroad toy covering everything with mud. The rear canopy can be removed allowing a lightsman and a shooter to spotlight from the back while bouncing across the paddocks or lets the back seats folded down to use the rear like a ute.

This is not a Ponsonby Tractor or a Jafa Lattemobile. It has been ridden hard and put away wet and its condition reflects that.

Currently not running and the battery has been relegated to powering portable electric fencing on the farm, bring a trailer or stout towrope.

Decent tread left on the M/T mud terrain tyres, but will need lots done to pass wof as indicators smashed by manuka, etc etc.

G52 manual, low range box, G252 diff gears, mint box and diffs. 3Y-J petrol motor, suit a V8 project conversion.
