Buy now added to tempt one of the 125 watchers. For this price I will include the 1500 Spitfire motor carbs and full synchro overdrive gearbox. Both will need a 'freshen up'

Update: I have now sourced a set of twin carbs and extractors to replace the missing ones. These will need overhauling of course but at least the car is complete again. These will come with the car
The previous owner spent quite some money on this car including a complete repaint and re vinning but then let the rego lapse. This was only a few years ago so shouldn't be too hard to put back into the system Interior is in reasonable condition and the dash and door cappings have been refinished. Dash is currently out of the car. Has a newish headlining. Paint and bodywork is still in good condition but really needs new door seals and bits and pieces like that done. The car did run and I have driven it up and down the road and everything worked. But since then I have used the twin carbs and manilfold on my Herald Coupe so these would need to be sourced if you want to keep the original 1147cc motor. I can supply a 1500 Spitfire motor with twin carbs for $500 separately to the buyer but this is not included in the auction. This was the motor I was intending to use in the car.
It is a project but not a big one and could be back on the road without too much work.
Another year has gone by with no progress so out it goes at much less than what I paid for it!
