Unfinished restoration / project
Viewing advised in Orakei, Auckland
Moving overseas so need an urgent sale.
TVR 3000m 1976, road registered in NZ (on hold), JA951 (https://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=JA951) Had done around 70,000 miles with a ford essex v6
Engine No: D5767253 Chassis: 3680FM
Steel space frame with fibreglass chassis.
Origional plan was to restore and add a new drivetrain and brakes, so the engine, drivetrain and brakes have been removed.
Completed
- Removed rust, strengthened and powdercoated chassis
- Wishbones and other suspension struts have been cleaned, rust removed and powdercoated
- Urethane bushings
- Suspension uprights cleaned and painted
- New front allumium front wheel bearing casings.
- All glass complete and intact
Needs replacement
- Seats were rusted and thrown away, needs to be replaced.
- Fuel tank and fuel lines removed and thrown away, needs to be replaced.
- Engine removed and sold, needs to be replaced
- Gearbox removed and sold, needs to be replaced
- Diff / drive shafts removed and sold, needs to be replaced
- brakes removed and sold, needs to be replaced
- front and rear brakes removed and sold, needs to be replaced
- mags and tires removed and sold.
Interior has been removed for replacement / refurbishment but is included
Includes a book of part assembly diagrams.
