Volkswagen 411 LE 1972

Car sold new in Rotorua in 1972 - original owner sold the car after 23 years - 2nd owner sold the car after 16 years - I have owned the vehicle for 2 years.

This an LE model which means it is higher spec'd than the base model.

The engine is fuel injected (Bosch Jet Tronic coupled to a three speed automatic transmission - all standard

A significant amount of money has been spent on the following items;

New tyres (radials) - wheels stripped and powder coated - bumpers repaired & re-chromed ($1800) - Tow Bar & bumper brackets stripped & powder coated - ECU sent to Australia for complete rebuild ($1200.00) - new brakes - new shock absorbers - new suspension bushes - new standard exhaust system.

The car has always been shed stored and is driven from Tauranga to Rotorua & return most days - ultra reliable

The car was repainted a number of years ago and is not in the best condition -there is rust in the leading edge of front bonnet, also in both rear guards - some rust in front guards also - rust is an easy fix as all guards unbolt.

Interior is original - seat upholstery is in very good condition - no tears - carpets are original as are the door cards. there is a small rip the the head lining.

All glass is original VW glass and is stamped as such.

Reason for selling??? I have one too many VW's
