Internet or phone banking
Trade Me is a pre-assigned biller with all major NZ banks. This means you can credit your Trade Me account using internet or phone banking.
Below is a list of banks who currently have Trade Me as a pre-assigned biller:
- ANZ Bank
- ASB Bank
- Bank Direct
- BNZ Bank
- Kiwi Bank
- The Co-operative Bank
- SBS Bank
- Taranaki Saving Bank
- Westpac
To set up Trade Me as a payee, you may need to get in touch with your bank. Your bank will ask for your email address and Trade Me member number (available from your My Trade Me page) or enable you to do this online. We recommend that you search "trade" in order to find Trade Me in your bank’s list of registered billers.
After the initial set up, you can select Trade Me as a biller using internet and phone banking. Please note that payment by internet or phone banking can take up to two business days to appear on your Trade Me account.
Alternatively, pay online into your Trade Me account.
We recommend making payments directly online into your Trade Me account. This is instant and the most secure method of topping up your account.
