We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who’s great with detail, confident with clients, and ready to do meaningful work that makes a difference to small businesses.
The Position:
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entities
- Managing your own client list and workload
- Budgets, forecasts, cashflow reporting
- Management reporting
- Managing client queries
- Research and drafting advice on tax issues
- Providing accounting system advice and support
Skills and attributes required:
- Minimum of three years' experience in NZ public practice
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or working towards CA preferred
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, general ledger processes, and accounting standards
- Confident self-starter, capable of managing multiple tasks
- High level of proficiency in Excel, XPA and Xero
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
