Digger Operator with Class 4 Licence – Thames Area
We’re on the lookout for someone based in the Thames area who can operate a digger and drive a Class 4 truck. This is full-time work, Monday to Friday, with occasional after-hours and weekend call-outs.
The job: You’ll be working as part of a roading crew, mainly focused on clearing and maintaining drains, and carrying out general earthworks. The work is based on and near roads in the Thames Coast and rural Thames/Coromandel areas. You’ll be operating both a 10-tonne and 1.5-tonne digger. You must be experienced and confident operating machines and trucks in live roading environments.
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a WTR endorsement
- Have a Class 4 licence
- Be able to pass a drug test
- Have no criminal convictions
- Be reliable and available for after-hours call-outs from time to time
Pay rate: $30 per hour Start: As soon as possible
Location requirement: Due to the on-call nature of the work, you must live within a reasonable commute to Thames. We’re only considering applicants who live in the following areas:
