The Company
One of the better local contractors with a streamlined organisational culture are looking for a Site Manager to deliver a mix of interiors and new build based projects to $20M. They have a constant stream of new work and it can vary somewhat between major refurbs, larger expansions, base builds of new retail stores, new build schools, reroofs, and larger commercial new builds. They are also an accommodating employer with a relative focus on lifestyle balance with some good systems in place for feedback and/or areas of development required. They are a dynamic team who are hardworking, but also know how to have fun so you can ensure that the culture is rewarding.
The Role
This role would see you leading a site, working with a project manager to coordinate site activities. Such areas you will be involved with include managing sub contractors, site safety, quality control and assisting with ordering materials. Other tasks will be client relationship development, scheduling and ensuring project programme is maintained, ensuring occupational health and safety requirements are implemented
Ideal background:
- Ideally a trade background with 6 - 10 years + local site management experience
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to come up with solutions for any problems maintaining a flexible approach
- Sound communication skills with sub contractors, clients and consultants with ability to manage strong personalities
- Strong knowledge and experience in OH&S
Remuneration: $125K - $140K + vehicle pending experience.
