We are on the lookout for an inspiring ECE Team Leader to guide our preschool room! Our team is full of passionate, enthusiastic kaiako who are always growing and working together to create the best possible learning environment for our tamariki. As a leader, you will ignite the spark of curiosity and learning in our children and teachers alike, infusing our team with your vibrant spirit, energy, and genuine passion for what you do!
This is a full time position from Monday – Friday, we can offer flexible hours for the right person!
About us: At Busy Bees New Plymouth we have three age appropriate classrooms. Each space has their own separate outdoor area providing endless opportunities to explore the natural environment. The natural environment of Busy Bees New Plymouth allows children to spontaneously connect with Papatūānku right here in our own outdoor space. We celebrate whakawhanaungatanga (relationships) by connecting with our community through multicultural celebrations and creating a strong sense of belonging.
What are we looking for? Our ideal candidate is an individual who is deeply passionate about delivering quality learning and care to every tamaiti entrusted to us. They should excel at fostering responsive relationships with tamariki and their whānau, and they should possess approachability and a readiness to tackle challenges head-on. A Level 7 qualification (or its NZQA equivalent) in ECE is essential, along with full or provisional registration. We value an open-minded approach to diverse philosophies, offering ample opportunities for personal and professional growth within our team of dedicated educators.
