The nurturing environment of our Kowhai room allows infants to glow and develop in their own time following the familiar routines of home. Active Explorers Greenmeadows sits close to nature with Anderson Park across the road. We take our pepei on regular excursions across to Anderson Park so they can experience the joy of nature firsthand.
We are looking for a qualified and registered early childhood Kaiako or a student teacher in their final year to become a key teacher in our growing infant space. You will join an established team across the centre have strong mentoring and support from our leadership team and most importantly have the ability really impact the first years of our tamariki.
We have wonderful relationships with our whanau who play a large part in the learning and development of our children. As part of our team you’ll be supported by a welcoming environment that places a strong emphasis on collaboration and cultural respect. We are looking for someone who is familiar with or shows willingness to learn about the local purakau (stories) of Ngati Kahungunu.

What we're looking for in you:
You’re a qualified Early Childhood Teacher with provisional or full NZ Teaching Council Registration. Or are in your final year of studies to become an Early Childhood Teacher. You have a gentle patient and empathetic approach to guiding learners - fostering a supportive learning environment.
