Our teaching team includes passionate educators from Samoan, Cook Island, Indian, European, Chinese, Fijian, and Māori backgrounds. Located just a short walk from the Papatoetoe train station and Allan Brewster Leisure Centre, BestStart Kenderdine Road is a hub of connection and care. This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Role Requirements:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor
  • Has a strong understanding of child-led curriculum and planning
  • Demonstrates knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and values compliance
  • Shows a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in teaching practice
  • Brings passion, energy, and a focus on delivering quality education
