About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm. You'll support our Kaiako across the centre, caring for tamariki from infants up to five years old.
We're looking for someone calm, flexible, and positive, with a natural connection to children and a strong sense of initiative. In this role, you'll help with routines such as kai times, caregiving, and covering breaks, while engaging tamariki in meaningful learning and play.
What You'll Do
- Provide nurturing care and education for tamariki
- Support the team across all classrooms as needed
- Join in centre activities and foster children's learning
- Contribute to the smooth running of daily routines
What We're Looking For
An ECE qualification is not required for this role. We are looking for a caregiver with:
- Experience working with children under five
- A natural affinity with tamariki, especially infants and toddlers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A professional, proactive approach
