We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Site Engineer to join our client's dynamic team working on drainage and infrastructure projects across the South Island. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality civil works while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction and engineering activities
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Monitor progress, ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and ensure health & safety compliance
- Provide technical input and support to the project engineer and site leads
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Minimum qualification
- 2+ years of experience in civil/site engineering (New Zealand experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of NZ construction codes and standards
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working with Three Waters and drainage is preferred
